Most newborn sessions take place within the first two weeks after birth, when babies are naturally sleepiest. However, every birth story is unique, and we'll choose the timing that's best for your family.
Bringing a new little one into the world is always a joy that should be captured! Your newborn session will be all about celebrating the charm of your baby and your family’s bond.

Reserve Your Due Date, Not Your Session Date
One of the most common questions I receive is:
"When should I book my newborn session?"
The answer is during pregnancy, ideally during your second or third trimester.
Because babies arrive on their own schedule, I reserve your due date on my calendar rather than a specific session date. Once your little one arrives, simply send me a text from the hospital or within the first day or two after birth, and we'll choose the perfect session date based on baby's arrival.
This flexible scheduling allows me to photograph your baby during those beautiful early days while ensuring every family receives the time and attention they deserve.
Because I photograph only a limited number of newborns each month, reserving your due date during pregnancy is the best way to guarantee availability. While I occasionally have last-minute openings, I can't promise availability after baby arrives.

Together we will design your session colors and setup and tailor your session to your vision. Your custom studio session will be tailored to your vision.

Your full gallery will be ready to deliver at your appointment in studio and you’ll be presented with an array of product mock-ups with your heirlooms in mind

We reserve your due date for your session and adjust once baby is here. However, given that we only take in a set amount of babies each month to allow flexibility, we suggest booking as early as possible, best around your 20th week of gestation.

We start with a complimentary consultation call. Here we will review your vision for your session as well as design. Your session retainer is collected and your date is set.
Once your session day arrives, the session itself can take up to 3 hours.
Photo turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. After reviewing and finalizing your images, I will contact you to setup a viewing and ordering appointment for you to select your final package! Any products ordered are customized and delivered to you.

We allow flexibility in our schedule to accommodate you and your family, once booked. We understand that babies can make an early or late arrival. We are prepared to receive you with loving arms, keeping your and your baby’s safety in mind.

Our studio is designed with you in mind. We understand that in the first few days after birth, sleep deprivation is real. That’s why everything you need for your session is already taken care of. From baby outfits, swaddles, coordinated setups, and props, to a comfortable seating area for parents and family, a changing space, and a small snack and drink station — every detail is in place so you can simply relax and enjoy the experience.

Newborn sessions include a session fee that covers your time in the studio, access to props, wraps, outfits, and a fully guided photography experience. Digital images, prints, and artwork are purchased separately at your ordering appointment, allowing you to choose only what you truly love for your home.
This approach ensures every family receives a fully customized collection based on their needs, whether you’re looking for a simple keepsake or a full heirloom gallery. Payment plans are also available to make building your collection more flexible and stress-free.
Reservations
Your due date is all we need to hold your spot upon booking. We will adjust the session date once baby is here, depending on mama and baby’s wellbeing.
Session regularly takes place within baby’s first 5-10 days of birth, not to exceed 4 weeks.
The best time to reserve your spot is during your third trimester, to ensure availability.
